Hance Endorsed by Southern Maryland Association of Realtors

The Southern Maryland Association of Realtors announced its support for Earl "Buddy" Hance for Calvert County Commissioner in May 2018. Buddy is proud and honored to receive this endorsement and appreciates the support of the 1,750 member trade organization who's mission is to serve as the voice of property owners across Southern Maryland.

On behalf of the Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS® (SMAR), a trade organization dedicated to serving its 1,750 members and the wider Southern Maryland community, we want to first applaud you for announcing your candidacy for the Calvert County Commissioner, At Large seat. Our leadership appreciates the time you spent with the SMAR Legislative and RPAC committees to discuss local county concerns directly related to the real estate community and all property owners in Calvert County during our candidate endorsement process.

As President of the Board of Directors for SMAR, with a mission statement to serve as the voice of property owners across Southern Maryland, I am pleased to offer our endorsement for your election to the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners. Your unique experiences serving the state as Secretary of Agriculture and ability to manage budgets, staff and direct vision for the State of Maryland will serve the citizens of Calvert County. Additionally, your volunteer service to the Farm Bureau and understanding of a community dedicated to its property owners rights is key to the leadership needed in Calvert.

As a property owner and lifelong resident in Calvert County, your experiences and working knowledge will be an integral piece to helping the next Board of County Commissioners as it navigates future growth and decisions to be made on behalf of all county residents.
